An Example
We will walk you through the process of
creating your homepage by using Easy HomePage Builder. In order to follow
this example, you should login your CoolChannel email account. Click on the
link Easy HomePage on the left-framed column to access to Easy HomePage
Builder. Alright! Are you ready?
Step 1: Adding/Editing HomePage Title
- Under the section title: HomePage
Title, click on the link Change.
- Enter the following phrase into the text
box: Welcome to My HomePage
- Then click on the button
Use This Title.
Step 2: Selecting Wecome graphic and
Email graphic
- Under the section title: HomePage
Graphics, click on the link Change.
- Then under Welcome Graphic, click
on the link Change Welcome Graphic.
- Click on the last radio button on the
right-hand side to select the big Welcome image. Then click on the
button Choose Graphic.
- Then under Email Graphic, click
on the link Change Email Graphic
- On the right column,
click on the second radio button to select the Email image. Then
click on the button Choose Graphic.
- Finally, click on the button Choose
These Graphics.
Step 3: Selecting colors for text and
links
- Under the section title: Color Scheme,
click on the link Change.
- Click on the link Change
Text Color, then click on any color square to choose your
color, let say click on the any red square.
- Then click on the link Change
Link Text Color, then click on color
square to select color for your link.
- Click on the link Change
Visited Link Text Color,
then click on any color square to select color for your visited link.
- Then click on Change
Background Color,
and then select color for your background. Note that if you choose
dark color for your background, you may not see the text. Thus if you
choose dark color for your background (black for example), then you
should choose lighter color for your text (white for example).
- Finally click on the
button Use This
Color Scheme.
Step 4: Selecting background
- Under the section title: Textured
Background, click on the link Change.
- Click on the second radio button from
the left, which is next to the radio button referred to None, to
select this background.
- Then click on the button Choose
This Image.
Step 5: Selecting HomePage Paragraph
Text/Layout
- Under the section title: Block 1,
click on the link Compose.
- In the Style row, click to select
the first radio button which is for the style: image is on the left
and text is on the right.
- In the Image row, click to select
your uploaded image from the drop-down menu. Note that if you
have not uploaded any images from your local computer to CoolChannel's
server or computer, then you could not see any images from the
drop-down menu. If so, just leave this option out.
- Next, in the Paragraph Title,
enter "My Birthday Event".
- In the Paragraph Text, enter some
short sentences that describe your birthday events. For example, you
may enter something like this: "This
picture was taken during my Birthday Eve
on Jan 1, 2000."
- Finally click on the button Accept

- Now under Block 1, you could probably
see some text that you have just added to. You can add more on Block
2, Block 3, and Block 4.
Step 6: Adding Contact Information
- Under the section title: Contact
Information, click on the link View/Change
.
- We presume that you only want to display
your full name and your email address to the visitors. The Yes
option means you want to display your personal information to the
visitors to see. The No option will hide your information. So
you skip the first line. On the second line, click on the radio button
Yes.
- Skip the third line, and click on radio
button Yes of the fourth line.
- Skip the last line, if you want to. Then
click on the button Use This Information to
finish adding your contact information to your homepage.
Step 7: Adding Favorite Links
- Under the section title: A List of
Favourite Links, click on the link View/Change.
- In the first text box,
enter "http://www.CoolChannel.com"
- In the second box, enter
"CoolChannel
Web site."
- Repeat the above steps to add more links
and link's description to your homepage.
- When you're done, click on the button Use
These Links.
Step 8: Viewing your work
- Click on the button Saves
The Changes to update any changes you have just made to
your homepage.
- Click on the button Go
Visit Your HomePage.. to see your
new homepage. Now you can view your homepage with all new changes
made.
